There were lots of variety, and I learned to do lots of different things as well as gaining confidence. Everyone was very nice to me and I felt like I was being useful.

I enjoyed learning about the inside workings of a small organisation. As well as finding out interesting new facts and gaining knowledge surrounding environmental issues, the transferable skills I used or saw in action this week such as writing outreach emails, researching grants, and pitching to potential partners will be very useful in future work. The week was very well planned, and I felt that I was actively helping the company. Everyone was also very welcoming and helpful.

I really liked the variety of tasks I had a chance to do and the different skills I gained in all of them from designing posters to planning lessons. I also really enjoyed being in a work office and gaining an understanding of how professional environments actually work as I haven't really had the chance to do this before. Georgina and her team were all really friendly and made me feel welcomed and at ease which made the week very enjoyable too.

I really enjoyed preparing the documents, writing blog posts and creating a lesson plan. I enjoyed making the lesson plan because I researched areas that I would have never usually found out about. I liked writing the documents and the blog posts because I like feeling useful and achieving a final product at the end.
